Today was more of a lazy day…. again 😉 For lunch we went to a fast food restarant called cane‘s and btw, they have amazing limonade.
Afterwards we went shopping for cloths because the school has an insanely strict dresscode. And as I found out, the school gives the students an opportunity to pay, so that the next day of school they don‘t have to follow the dresscode. For me that sounds like a complete rip-off!
What is really weird for me though is that all the shops are open on weekends. But I‘m kind of getting used to it and it‘s really great to be able to shop on sundays!
At home we did the usual; watching „Friends“. Which is slowly becoming my favorite sitcom 🙂 It‘s really awesome because with „Friends“ we have a show that we can watch with the whole family and everyone seems to be enjoying it. But earlier today my siblings had started watching a really weird show that‘s not quite my taste. So while they were watching the show, I sat on the couch next to them and read the first 100 pages of this book I have to read for my AP English class. The book is written really well, but it really bothers me that it is so long. So even after spending a lot of time reading this book, it feels like I‘m not getting anywhere…..
For dinner we went to „Sonic“, which is a place where you can order your food in the parking lot and then they bring the order to your car. But we didn‘t actually go for the food since we were all still full from lunch. The reason why we went there is because my host sister told me that they had amazing shakes. She recommended me the oreo-chocolate shake, so obviously I followed her advice. And because everyone was still getting a small portion of food, I decided to try a corn dog.
It really is as sugary as it looks like and after drinking half of it, I felt sick. So I put it in the fridge so I can finish it tomorrow.
